Another Blonde moment

A Blonde was sent on her way to Heaven.

Upon arrival, a concerned St Peter met her at the Pearly Gates.

'I'm sorry,' St Peter said; 'But Heaven is suffering from an overload of goodly souls and we have been forced to put up an Entrance Exam for new arrivals to ease the burden of Heavenly Arrivals.'

'That's cool' said the blonde,

'What does the Entrance Exam consist of?' just three questions' said St Peter.

'Which are?' asked the blonde.

'The first,' said St Peter, 'is, which two days of the week start with the letter 'T' '?

The second is 'How many seconds are there in a year?'

The third is 'What was the name of the swagman in Waltzing Matilda?'

'Now,' said St Peter, 'Go away and think about those questions and when I call upon you, I shall expect you to have those answers for me.'

So the blonde went away and gave those three questions some considerable thought (I expect you to do the same).

The following morning, St Peter called upon the blonde and asked if she had considered the questions, to which she replied,

'I have.' 'Well then,' said St Peter, 'Which two days of the week start with the letter T?'

The blonde said, 'Today and Tomorrow.'

St Peter pondered this answer for some time, and decided that indeed the answer can be applied to the question.

'Well then, could I have your answer to the second of the three questions?'

St Peter went on, 'how many seconds in a year?'

The Blonde replied, 'Twelve!' 'Only twelve?' exclaimed St Peter, 'How did you arrive at that figure?'

'Easy,' said the blonde, 'there's the second of January, the second of February, right through to the second of December, giving a total of twelve seconds.'

St Peter looked at the blonde and said, 'I need some time to consider your answer before I can give you a decision.'

And he walked away shaking his head.

A short time later, St Peter returned to the Blonde. 'I'll allow the answer

to stand, but you need to get the third and final question

absolutely correct to be allowed into Heaven.

Now, can you tell me the answer to the name of the swagman in Waltzing Matilda?'

The blonde replied: 'Of the three questions, I found this the easiest to answer.' 'Really!' exclaimed St Peter, 'And what is the answer?'

'It's Andy.'

'Yes, Andy,' said the blonde.

This totally floored St Peter, and he paced this way and that, deliberating the answer.

Finally, he could not stand the suspense any longer, and turning to the blonde, asked

'How in God's name did you arrive at THAT answer?'

'Easy' said the blonde, 'Andy sat, Andy watched, Andy waited til his billyboiled.'

And the blonde entered Heaven...

Australia Day is Australia's official national day, 26 January. It commemorates the landing of the First Fleet in Sydney Cove on that day in 1788.Sir Macfarlane Burnet was the first Australian of the Year in 1960.
Occupying an entire continent of some 7.6 million square kilometres, Australia is the sixth largest country in the world.

The Honourable Alfred Deakin was Australia's Prime Minister three times from 1903 to 1910. He attended Melbourne Grammar School and the University of Melbourne. He practiced law and was a journalist for the Age newspaper.

\About 85 per cent of flowering plants, 84 per cent of mammals, more than 45 per cent of birds, and 89 per cent of inshore, freshwater fish are unique to Australia.A worldwide competition to design the Australian flag attracted 32,823 entries in 1901.

There were 5 winners who shared the 200 pound prize money.Australia Day celebrates the anniversary of Captain Arthur Phillip unfurling the British flag at Sydney Cove and proclaiming British sovereignty over the eastern seaboard of Australia on 26 January 1788.

The quest for the celebration of a united Australian national day commenced within a few years of the First Fleet landing and the subsequent white settlement of this island continent.

The following timeline gives a chronological history of how Australians have acknowledged, celebrated and mourned January 26 since 1788.

It traces the path that leads to all States and Territories celebrating Australia Day as one on January 26 annually.January 26, through more than 200 years of debate and controversy, has remained the Australian celebratory national day since that date in January 1788 when 'formal possession was taken of the Colony of New South Wales

On that day, Captain Arthur Phillip became Governor of the Colony, having jurisdiction over the area bounded by latitude 10 37' to latitude 43 49' south and inland to longitude 135 east'.

The fledgling colony soon began to mark the anniversary of 26 January 1788 with formal dinners and informal celebrations. Manning Clark noted that on January 26, 1808, the 'anniversary of the foundation of the colony' was observed in the traditional manner with 'drinking and merriment'.

John Macarthur Senior had ensured his soldiers were amply supplied with liquor, bonfires were blazing and private houses illuminated.By 1820, Australia was beginning to look undeniably prosperous and sentiments of Australian patriotism were being expressed at gatherings of ex-convicts.

The sense of belonging to a new nation was encouraged in 1817 when Governor Macquarie recommended the adoption of the name Australia, instead of New Holland, for the entire continent

Advance Australia Fair’ is the national anthem of Australia.
A revised version of a late nineteenth century patriotic song, it was officially declared the national anthem on 19 April 1984.

Australians all let us rejoice,
For we are young and free,
We've golden soil and wealth for toil,
Our home is girt by sea,
Our land abounds in nature's gifts Of beauty rich and rare,
In history's page, let every stage
Advance Australia Fair.

In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia Fair.

Beneath our radiant Southern Cross
We'll toil with hearts and hands
,To make this Commonwealth
of ours Renowned of all the lands,
For those who've come across the seas
We've boundless plains to share,
With courage let us all combine to
Advance Australia Fair.

In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia Fair.

Hope you have a great day 23 January

Carol tucking into Morton bay bugs Christmas Day

G'day everyone,,

Another very hot week, I went to Pennant Tuesday 9.30am game start, by 11am the temp had reached 38c =100f the game was stopped due to heat rule. then returning back to our club. a few of us had a cold stubbie or 2 ,before I returned home for a much needed dip in the pool .

Today we had very severe winds and looked like we were in for a storm but Alas not a drop of rain turned into a dust storm .

To end with a few photo's of my day

My first stop out on the highway to hardware store

looking across from the hardware store

the dust getting picked up in the fields by the winds

same farm
on the way back into town
Along my street to the lake
I sat here to take the next pics and got quite wet from the spray comming off the water but the heat of the day dryed me very quickly .
The fierce wind was whipping the water to a frenzy
You can just make out some boys diving into lake in the background

Time for a little shopping before heading home

By the time I arrived home about 3pm the air was thick with dust
standing on my veranda looking across the road
The sky over my backyard about 7pm
Couldnt see the sun for the dust. another hot day tomorrow forecast.
Thats all folk

I promise to get around to visiting you all in the next day or 2

Gentleman Golfer
A fellow was getting ready to tee off on the first hole when a second golfer approached and asked if he could join him. The first said that he usually played alone, but agreed to the twosome. They were even after the first two holes.
The second guy said, "We're about evenly matched, how about playing for five bucks a hole?" The first fellow said that he wasn't much for betting, but agreed to the terms.
The second guy won the remaining sixteen holes with ease. As they were walking off number eighteen, and while counting his $80.00, he confessed that he was the pro at a neighboring course and liked to pick on suckers.
The first fellow revealed that he is the Parish Priest. The pro got all flustered and apologetic, offering to return the money. The Priest said, "You won fair and square and I was foolish to bet with you. You keep your winnings."
The pro said, "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?"
The Priest said, "Well, you could come to Mass on Sunday and make a donation. Then, if you bring your mother and father by after Mass, I'll marry them..."

Three girls all worked in the same office with the same female boss.
Each day, they noticed the boss left work early.
One day the girls decided that when the boss left, they would leave right behind her.
After all, she never called or came back to work, so how would she know they went home early??
The brunette was thrilled to be home early.
She did a little gardening, spent playtime with her son, and went to bed early.
The redhead was elated to be able to get in quick workout at the spa before meeting dinner date.
The blonde was happy to get home early and surprise her husband, but when she got to her bedroom, she heard a muffled noise from inside.
Slowly and quietly, she cracked open the door and was mortified to see her husband in bed with her lady boss!!
Gently, she closed the door and crept out of her house.
The next day, at their coffee break, the brunette and redhead planned to leave early again, and they asked the blonde if she was going to go with them .
"No way", the blonde exclaimed.

"I almost got caught yesterday!"

A 7 year old & a 4 year old are upstairs in their bedroom.'

You know what?' says the 7 year old,
'I think it's about time we started swearing.'
The 4 year old nods his head in approval.
The 7 year old says 'When we go downstairs for breakfast I'm going to swear first, then you swear after me, ok?
'Ok' the 4 year old agrees with enthusiasm.
The mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 7 year old what he wants for breakfast.'Oh sh*t mum, I s'pose I'll have some Coco Pops'

He flew out of his chair, tumbled across the kitchen floor, got up, & ran upstairs crying his eyes out.
She looked at the 4 year old & asked with a stern voice,'And what do YOU want for breakfast young man?'
'I don't know,' he blubbers,

'but it won't be *f**king Coco Pops!'.

A young Italian girl was going on a date.

A doctor in Dublin wanted to get off work and go fishing, so he approached his assistant. 'Murphy,
I am going fishing tomorrow and don't want to close the clinic.
I want you to take care of the clinic and take care of all me patients'. 'Yes, sir!' answers Murphy.
The doctor goes fishing and returns the following day and asks:
'So,Murphy, how was your day?'
Murphy told him that he took care of three patients.'The first one had a headache so he did, so I gave him Paracetamol.' 'Bravo Murphy lad, and the second one?' asks the doctor.
'The second one had indigestion and I gave him Gaviscon, so I did sir' says Murphy.
'Bravo, bravo! You're good at this . . . and what about the third one?' asks the doctor.
'Sir, I was sitting here and suddenly the door flies open and a young gorgeous woman bursts in so she does.
Like bolt outta the blue, she tears off her clothes, taking off everyting including her bra and her panties and lies down on the table, spreading her legs and shouts:

for the love of St Patrick! For five years I have not seen any man!''
'Tunderin' lard Jesus Murphy, what did you do?' asks the doctor.
'I put drops in her eyes.'
