A few more plants in my backyard

Hi everyone! Firstly I would to thank you all for your concern regarding my fall.
Well how did it happen. It happened so quick and simple ,we had just come out Donna's Back door and was walking to the car to go on yet another trip to the strawberry farm.SeeGwens Den for pics.My foot went in a small hole the dog had dug and down I went. no damage done just a shock to the system and a couple of bruises .

Now some photo's from my backyard
Belladonna Lily or Naked Lady
Large cacti Elegans Pink Crepe Myrtle

Jade fully recovered after being severely cut back to a small stalk after last winter frost

Finally my Jessicia rose bush in bloom

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....Here we go again. This it the third time I have tried to leave a comment. My internet is going in and out. If I type real fast....lol
I did not know about your fall. I am glad to hear you are okay.
Pet humour was funny.
Thank you so much for the visit to your yard. The Pink Crepe Myrtle is beautiful! I have never seen anything like it. I liked the Jessica rose bush in bloom as well!
It is very nice to see your yard because all I see when I look outside is a blanket of white. The
beautiful plants is a sight for sore eyes. Thank you for sharing your warm world with those of us in the deep freeze.
I hope Clayton is well. Give him a scratch on the belly from me.
Have a wonderful day!

What has your water got in it that makes your garden so beautiful?! Lovely photos, Jen; green fingers too no doubt! Don't throw out what's left of those swapcards...they could be valuable one day!

Oh lordy....I am a klutz too. LOL ---nah, I'm not calling you klutzy...I took a fall the other day---fully my fault. My stupidity. I won't even tell you about it. But bruises the size of Texas. LOL [and you know without asking, the only part of the body that could have a bruise that size is well.......]

Love the pink crepe myrtle...did you train it to twist like that? Beautiful. And I love roses, we both did a rose photo or two.

Happy Sunday

Jeanette, you really have some pretty flowers in your backyard! I especially adore your roses... Hohoh, while we are in the middle of winter over here in Germany, your roses are blooming....

Thanks a lot for your idea to put a plant in my new cage. The "problem" is that I won't be able to hang it cage near a window. But guess what, I found two very pretty pink (plastic) birds in a garden store yesterday. I've alread put them inside it now, it looks much better! - Not yet perfect but much better..... ;-))

Hi Jen -- That was a bad fall. Thanks for telling us you are ok.
I still think maybe though that Gwen's picture is staged.
Otherwise she is pretty fast on the camera shutter.

Hi Jan ~~ Glad the fall was no worse. They were a bit unkind making you wait for a photo before helping you up. You were lucky they were there though. Most of my falls have been when I am on my own, down the street and one in the front garden. had fun getting up which invoved crawling!!

Your flowers are beautiful, and I hadn't seen the Jessica rose. Nice.
Thanks for your comments and e mails you send.Take better care, Love, Merle.

Hi Jen!
You just missed me posting the photo of hubby's new mermaid. As I was clicking 'publish post' --I saw your new comment.

I just love how that c. myrtle's trunk is growing. It make the garden that you have, lovely as it is---that 'twisty' trunk gives it a bit of the groomed 'oriental' flair that the Japanese gardens have.

So..........hmmm, you trim it back, do you? I have two deep pink c. myrtles and I love the flowering ---here the leaves turn golden/red in Autumn....they are gorgeous aren't they?

Happy day to you ---well, I imagine as I type here at 5 a.m. it's almost early evening there.

Glad you suffered no ill effects from the fall ... I just came from Gwen's (alphabetical order, you know), and saw the piccy !! Must have been fun, strawberry picking. Your garden looks fabulous. I wish I had pretty things in mine, but I am a very bad gardener ... my plants just die, or thrive from neglect !!
Take care, Meow

I'm pleased to hear you haven't injured yourself, having a fall can shake you up. You will have to watch out next time you go over there as there will no doubt be two holes now - one the dog dug and another where you landed! I like your lily, I'm now wondering if its scented? Bob.
