Hi Jan,
Your pool must be a wonderful place to cool off in the hot weather. Love your bromeliads also. We have a pond with about 20 fish and they've had lots of cold weather to contend with!

That pool makes me long for an Aussie summer and a pool like yours to swim in. It's gorgeous! Love those bromeliads. My mum used to grow them (and everything else!).
Thanks for your visits and comments. I've been reading that hippeastrums are sometimes incorrectly called Amaryllis...and that the true Ams are belladonna lilies. They're related anyway! My "Amaryllis" looks more like a hippe in my plant encyclopedia.
Loved the "Heaven" joke :)
Surprisingly, the kitties don't seem to bother the birds. They're out back in the barn.

Hi Jan ~~ Great photos of your lovely back yard. Everything looks lovely
Jan and must be a lot of work to keep it that way. I hope your dog is OK.
Your pond is delightful too, I remember seeing it but cannot place where it is. I guess Alan helped build these special places.
Thanks for your visits, glad you lied the Wedding cake, Viagra and
Prince Charles co-incidences.
Take care, my friend. Love, Merle.

The kids love coming up to see there nanny most of all. The pool is just a bonus to keep them out of trouble.
Will be back over the next school holidays.

Hi Jeanette, you have a lovely garden. It must keep you fairly busy keeping it looking so nice.
I like your nice pool too, I know the kids appreciate it.
You place will be a little lonely now, maybe you should have that party Little Jen suggested.

Looks to me like that pools needs some people in it, I will have to pop over. I always find it sad and quiet when visitors go home.

Hi Jeanette, I hope poor Clayton is feeling much better soon. Your garden is really wonderful, and your pool reminds me of the one we had in our backyard at our home in Darwin.
It's always lovely having loved ones together, and I bet that they all took away some really great memories too.
(((hugs)))
