Hi Jan, all lookin' good in the back yard, thanks for your support in the blobbies, would be nice to have an old guy win the Aussie section!!!
Ooops, that's bloggies!!
Hope your dog is ok; our daughters dog had it too and they have to keep him on a low fat diet. The bromeliads are lovely. Are you able to grow them outdoors? all year. Love the pool too....I hear it calling me....dive in Ruh dive in!!!
Oh what a beautiful backyard you have!! I don't doubt the pool was used all day long every day with the temps you guys have been getting! Love your pond too...I would love to have one, one day! Poor doggie, hope he feels better real soon:-) Hugs xox
Hi Jan,
Your pool must be a wonderful place to cool off in the hot weather. Love your bromeliads also. We have a pond with about 20 fish and they've had lots of cold weather to contend with!
:)
That pool makes me long for an Aussie summer and a pool like yours to swim in. It's gorgeous! Love those bromeliads. My mum used to grow them (and everything else!).
Thanks for your visits and comments. I've been reading that hippeastrums are sometimes incorrectly called Amaryllis...and that the true Ams are belladonna lilies. They're related anyway! My "Amaryllis" looks more like a hippe in my plant encyclopedia.
Loved the "Heaven" joke :)
Surprisingly, the kitties don't seem to bother the birds. They're out back in the barn.
Hi Jan ~~ Great photos of your lovely back yard. Everything looks lovely
Jan and must be a lot of work to keep it that way. I hope your dog is OK.
Your pond is delightful too, I remember seeing it but cannot place where it is. I guess Alan helped build these special places.
Thanks for your visits, glad you lied the Wedding cake, Viagra and
Prince Charles co-incidences.
Take care, my friend. Love, Merle.
Lovely backyard, Jeanette...I wouldn't mind a dip in your pool right now, by the way! ;)
Thanks for the tour.
Hi mum, you forgot to mention the party you held after we left.. hehehe, piece and quite again. Only kidding.
The kids love coming up to see there nanny most of all. The pool is just a bonus to keep them out of trouble.
Will be back over the next school holidays.
Luv Jo xoxoxoxoox
Jan,
Your place looks wonderful!

Hi Jeanette, you have a lovely garden. It must keep you fairly busy keeping it looking so nice.
I like your nice pool too, I know the kids appreciate it.
You place will be a little lonely now, maybe you should have that party Little Jen suggested.
..
Hi again Jan ~~ Glad you enjoyed the story of the friend helping the other boy and also the blonde in Mexico joke. Hasn't the weather een kind for a while, but starting to warm up again. Take care, my friend, Love, Merle.
a pool AND a pond.
Well, I'm just going to have to move in.
Hi Mum, it looks a lot more peaceful than it did at xmas time... I heard there is a strawberry farm near your house. :)
That's a gorgeous back yard you have there ... the pool looks so inviting. Hope your dog will be OK, and it is all controllable with medication.
Have a wonderful week, take care, Meow
ohhhh .. poor Clayton. Does that mean NO MORE treats, and PLENTY of exercise ... no wonder he is looking miserable !!!!
Bet you are enjoying the peace and quiet, getting back into the bowling, and the small food bills !!!
Love

Oh Jen your yard is so beautiful. I love the bird in the tree....you have a lovely place their. It looks like paradise.....really it does.....isn't it great to have family gatherings with all the kids, but it feels good when things calm down and to have the house silent again....You have a beautiful pool.....it is so cold here now, and the snow I was so happy to see, won't stop, and I'm ready for it to stop and bring the spring......judy
Wow....beautiful, just so absolutely beautiful!! You've made your back yard like a room!---------by that I mean, it all looks so inviting and comfortable!!
Hope Clayton will be okay.
Looks to me like that pools needs some people in it, I will have to pop over. I always find it sad and quiet when visitors go home.
Hi Jeanette, I hope poor Clayton is feeling much better soon. Your garden is really wonderful, and your pool reminds me of the one we had in our backyard at our home in Darwin.
It's always lovely having loved ones together, and I bet that they all took away some really great memories too.
(((hugs)))
