These pictures are disgusting ! You sit in the hot sunshine and are eating strawberries (which here are now almost more expensive than russian caviar) and I sit here with 2 sweaters, the heating on and outside it's grey and raining ! And on top of this you all seem to have a lot of fun !I am jalous !!!
Ohhh!! Those strawberries look sooo good!
Looks like a real fun outing for you all!

...as I sit here and look at our frozen pond
Hi Jan, what can I say it looks as though it was a really tough day! It was nice for you that you had a lot if company willing to "sacrifice" their day as well. Seriously what a great day out for you all. Thanks for visiting.
Cheers Margaret
I'm shivering as I type this. It is bitterly cold here in "sunny California" Your strawberry sundae looks just delish!

No mention of a strawberry farm when we visited.... Hmmmm! looks like favouritism to me...
A strawberry sundae & a Crowny,I hope it was after midday...
What am I thinking! Of course it was, Scruff is with you...LMAO
LOL- this whole post made me smile- especially the photo of you and your pal wiping your faces after! :) All of those strawberries looked delicious- not to mention the cream!
l used to do cattle ranching in a place called Poteet Texas- Poteet was known as the strawberry capital-lol. Every year they'd have the strawberry festival- lots of fun. The water tower that stands above the town was painted as a strawberry too :)
Looks like you're all enjoying the sunny weather.
Bests
Hi Jan ~~ Wow, what a great day out for you all. Glad you all ad a nice day. Thanks for your visit and glad you enjoyed t. John collected his dogs ronight, so I will miss their cheery company tomorrow. Your pool is great for all the kids, of ALL ages.
Guess it helps keep cooler.
Take care,Love, Merle.
The strawberries look wonderful, especially when I turn my head and look out at the snow here in northwest Washington State! We are NOT supposed to have snow, except in the mountains, but it is now here. A local cartoon in the newspaper recently had a guy saying that if these were 100 year storms, then he must be 342 years old. And that is only this year's worth.
Thanks for your visits to my blog. The Elvis show was very good this time, and Pat and I are very well, thank you. Big things may be coming up there later this year.
Hi, just popped in to see all those strawberries & you having fun.
lucky you!
They look delish indeed.
I wish there were a place like that here in Houston. I would visit it several times a year. I love strawberries.
Hi Jan. Welcome back. I'm glad you picked some to take home. Just be careful you guys and don't get to hot.
BTW, it seems Pauline had her beer before having strawberries. Or is her can down as a signal for more beer?
Thanks for the family pictures too.
..
Hi Jen welcome back, those strawberries look great, we have U pick fields like that here in Florida it reminds me is time to go and pick some
Who discovered that place. I live 5 mins away and have never heard of a strawberry farm. I'm glad I didn't come as I see everyone in your house over x-mas got a bit beefy.
Love
Donna
Oh dear!!! Now, hand over the fresh strawberries!!!! Holy cow. This Yankee wants some of it all.
And here I am sitting in the cold winter morning and you're travelin' in your summer day and enjoying all that good stuff.
Hey you look well eating those in front of me like that, now what am I going to do? DROOL! DROOL!
Hi Jan ~~ Thanks for your visit and I am glad you liked the Marine and nurse story. Glad your Bowls were cancelled - it is just too hot.
Thank goodness for evaporative cooling. Bad night last night, had fan on all night. Take care, Love, Merle.
Strawberries and Crown Lager: a marriage made in...? LOL!
Both are yummy.
Hey Jan, you need to stay out of the sun for a while your hair is getting bleached!!
The spam you mentioned is only on your email I presume? your blog should be protected by Word Verification.

Hi Jan,
I think I gained a few pounds just looking at the pictures. I sure hope my strawberries come on strong this year. Right now it is below zero so I am not thinking strawberries, I am thinking staying warm. Now if I could just get that wife of mine to go get some wood....
I just started weight watchers, and this is not helping....it looks yummy.....
WHAT? No strawberry shortcake! ~ jb///
Hi Jan ~~ Glad you liked the blind girl story. The boyfriend made the mistake of giving her BOTH eyes, when one would have done the trick. Aging
jokes are usually popular as some of us are aging!! Well we all are, but some haven't got as far as some of us. Take care, Love, Merle.
Oh Jen... how can you do this to me? I am digging around in my kitchen for something nice to eat, without much luck - cheese and a dry cracker, and then I open your blog and see this!
Mind you, we've got Corned Silverside cooking in the slow cooker for dinner, so it's probably the smell that is making me hungry - so come to think of it, strawberries and sugar, who wants that? ::crying into keyboard::
your Xmas get together looks like it was fun too...
