Hi Jan ~~ Well done at getting your post on so early ~~ I haven't started yet. The photos look nice and I think we all had a nice day. I have led a very sheltered life, and when I see a plate with green zig-zags on it, I
expect it to be a design on the plate. Live and learn!!! Thank you,
Gwen and Pauline for a lovely day.
Love, Merle.

I'm glad you had a wonderful time with friends. It's nice to see Merle looking so happy. It looks like she got a cute stuffed toy to take home too. Happy weekend!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Regarding your question, the cupcakes were limited but I didn't mind because I was too full from the hearty dinner to try it anyway. :)

Hi again Jan ~~ Thanks for your comments. Glad you enjoyed the blonde joke. I didn't like it much as I thought about those three little boys
that their father drowned. But trust the blonde to try to open the tail gate on the Ute.Take care, my friend
Love, Merle.

Wow - didn't you all have a lovely day - I would have loved to have been a 'fly on the wall' listening to all your chatter and laughter.

Nice to read that you having such lovely weather.

My son arrived on Wednesday in Australia - left here on Monday and went via Tokyo.

He arrived at Cairns at 6am and it was 22c then - and now he is in Townsville for a couple of weeks and the heat and humidity has really kicked in.

He knows better than to complain to us poor mortals - there is thick white frost on the ground and it was -2c last night.

Have a good weekend

What a lovely time, you all must have had!!! Thank you for taking us along on your day.

And you said you were sipping a glass of Brandy and Dry Ginger ale. Yummmm! Never thought of that! Thank you for the idea.

Perhaps some will remember that I couldn't have Chocolate or anything to drink, a while ago. Well, I still have to steer clear of Chocolate. But I am able to have some to drink. It's been OK. and I'm enjoying it for a while. Until something in my gutt gets *unhappy* again and ... -giggles-
