Hi Jeanette,
thank you for visiting my blog and your kind comment!
Loved listening to the music while I looked through your pictures. The pastures look very dry, but the vines are bright green! What kind of wine is being produced in that valley? I love Australian Shiraz! :-)

Dear Jan ~~ I am so glad you are feeling so well, must be a few early nights that have helped. I am very glad that Pauline got a good report and a 12 mth return visit. Terrific.
Your photos are nice as usual Glad you had some time to shop. My table and chairs were delivered today, but I couldn't get anything out of the 2 boxes. They are jammed in so tight. John is coming tomorrow to put it all together for me. Photo to follow.
Take great care, my friend, Love, Merle.

What a lovely day you and Pauline had together. So glad her visit to the hospital turned out well and no more visits for 12 months. Yippee!

I loved the photos you shared with us. I love visiting other countries through the eyes of my blogging companions. Even the photos of the old barns are charming.

The food sounded wonderful, yum, yum. Did you have time to visit the wineries?

Close to where we live, there are wineries and if you visit their shops they give you, your choice of a sample of the wine. After 4 or 5 visits to different shops, I have to stop tasting the samples, or I would start staggering out the shop doors. lol...Have a splendid week-end.

It makes me smile with you just reading about your week. So glad you've had a good time! Big events, fun times and look at those wineries. :) Oh, and did my ears pick up when you've mentioned the pool man! I came back to snowy countryside after spending overnight in the cement jungle of Budapest.

You know, I've lived here now just a few years short of a decade and kept complaining that it does not snow. :) Oh, but it does and in the country it stays white. Guess what my cousin told me, 'well, that's what I've been telling you for years'. Was I sitting on my ears?

I so enjoy your your photos of your countryside, Jen. It's so interesting to me to compare your area with where I live. While there are many similarities, there are a surprising number of differences.

So glad Pauline got a good checkup. :o)

Hope you have a great new week!

Love and hugs,

Diane

Hello dear Jen:-)

Finally staying home today and catching up with my blogging friends! I so enjoyed seeing the pictures taken on your day trip and such great news about Pauline not having to go back to the Oncology Centre for another year!! I just love the way they've made that water tower look like a bottle of wine...brilliant advertisement for the wine industry there as well! lol Seeing the wineries reminds me a lot of Niagara on the Lake near Niagara Falls where they have many wineries. Hope all is well and that you're having fun with your bowling:-) xoxo

Hi Jen. Good to hear Pauline is ok for the next 12 months. Must be a relief for her and the family.

I haven't been to Albury-Wodonga for 30 years and probably wouldn't recognise the place now. I have friends in Wodonga and one day I'll get back there...
