Its Friday

Another busy friday, first off Irene and I went shopping to restock the fridge
and cupboard, then in and out a few more shops as Irene wanted to buy her
Daughter a bithday present so she could take it home when they leave on
Sunday .Back home to put shopping away then Ron decided he would like
a pie from the Bakery ,you guessed it back to the bakery we all decided to
have hot pies for lunch ,then just finishing and 4 friends called in to invite me to
the opening of our bowling season on Tuesday which I excepted and also to see
if i had my results back So on went the kettle left them making cuppa's while I
went for my Doctors appointment . Well good news the growth was benign yipee!!!
dont have to have another colonoscopy for 12 months but still have to have
blood tests every 3 months and I see Oncololgist early November. So all the
Family and friends walking around with big smiles .
To finish off a few holiday shots .
A Pleasant afternoon spent at Crocodylus Park
Certainly one of the most dramatic parts of the tour, here we witness hungry saltwater crocodiles feeding.

A male Peacock in full plumage is surely among the most beautiful and spectacular The Black-necked Stork, or Jabiru, is the only stork found in Australia. Standing at a height of 129 - 137 cm, with black and white body plumage, glossy dark green and purple neck and massive black bill, it is easily distinguished from all other Australian birds. The legs are long and coral-red in colour. The female is distinguished by its yellow eye. Immature birds resemble adults, but the black plumage is replaced by brown and the white plumage is duskier.
Cassowaries

are a large flightless bird and very shy but when cornered can lash out dangerously with their claws their feet possess a large inner claw which can be deadly.

WELL

Here i am holding 2 year old Crocodile its mouths taped

as it can cause a very nasty injury like loosing a finger or taking a large nice

chunk out of your hand

Dear Jan ~~ I am so relieved for you
that the growth was benign. That is a
beautiful word in my oinion. You have
had enough of the other sort. The photos
are great and the one of you holding a crocodile is really nice. Except that people getting that close to a croc are
a little crazy !! Take care and keep up those nice big smiles. Love, Merle.

Hello again ~~ I watched your footy
team beat Essendon tonight on TV,
How about Matthew Richardson ? Carlton
play Collingwood tomorrow and are unlikely to win, but you never can tell.

What GREAT news!! I'm so happy for you.

Your wildlife photos are wonderful. Don't know if I'd have the courage to hold that young croc though. Coming across those full grown ones doesn't bear thinking about.

What wonderful news, I am so pleased for you and your family. What a relief.
The photos of the crocodile park are great. The only one I've been to is Australia Zoo in Queensland, and I didn't get to hold one !!!
Hope you have a wonderful week.
Take care, Meow

That is really good news! Now you could celebrate with the wild life.

Since I'm not a bird guy, I'll the crocks. I doubt you did the taping of the little one.

Dear Jan ~~ Thank you so much for your kind words and sympathy on the loss of
my cousin. I spoke to her daughter today and it seems Kath enjoyed their usual
Sunday roast dinner and apple pie and very soon after had a heart attack. Her
husband rang me about 1-30 to tell me.
So it was all quick and she had lunch.
Take care Jan and thanks again. Love, Merle.
