Midura Part 6

Gday All.
Not a lot to report, I went back to bowls Thusday played 2 games our team won 1 lost 1..
I have the local handy man in at the moment Painting, repairing and replacing all my shade mesh on the fernery and extending for a new project,Will show this when completed. Also one of the large sails over back patio has been taken down and away getting repaired and cleaned one of the seams has warn and come adrift ,when that one is returned they will take the smaller one down and get that cleaned and check all the seams. so they should look like new once again. The weathers turned quite chilly, Todays forecast showers and top temp of 14c . Its only 11c =about 51f Brrrr at the moment and NO rain it wont get any warmer today. well I suppose it is winter, but cant complain the country side is starting to green up as is my back Lawn/

Dear Jan ~~ I am so glad you are keeping well and have got back to bowls again. Win some, lose some !!
Glad you liked the jokes, and sorry Richmond couldn't win again. I was barracking for them. Carlton just scraped in by 1 goal tonight.
All your photos are really good.
John took Bec to Echuca for a ride on a Paddle steamer one day, she was here. I had the Gas man coming to put a new fan to my gas Heater.
that day. It sure was cooler today.
Looking fwd to your next post.
Take care, dear friend. Love Merle.

A few years ago Mum and Harold did the boat trip on the Murray...about three or four days, I think. They had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Your trip looks a lot of fun, Jen. BTW, thanks for your tips on using blogger to upload. I have been doing it that way. I'll give it one more go and if it doesn't work, I'll use another application.

Hugs

Love the photos, must have been a grand trip.

You know what it's warmer where you are than where I am and it's supposed to be summer here. Well we've been on holiday for a couple of weeks and everyone says it was hot until the day we got back. Typical! Wouldn't you know it, I've missed the summer.

Good morning, Jen. I loved all the pictures. Next time, is there any chance me and The Missus could tag along?

Our Florida weather is beginning to get oppressive as the humidity rises with the rainy season approaching. Since we desperately need the rain here, it's a welcome development.

I hope you have a great week!

I've been enjoying your photos its almost like being there, lol.

Paula looked real relax on the deck of the paddle boat. We use to have paddle boats here in California too, they went up the Delta to Sacramento.

Hello dear Jen:-)

My goodness, I knew I hadn't visited in a while but I didn't realize just how many of your wonderful posts I had missed!

First of all, such wonderful news about your Colonoscopy results!! My mom has to go for one of those every 3 years and she just hates them! lol

I so enjoyed looking at all your beautiful pictures from your trip! You would really love Niagara on the Lake which is just a short drive from Niagara Falls, Ontario...it's all wineries around there and you can take all kinds of tours:-) Steve and I are not wine drinkers so we haven't taken advantage of the tours which is a shame. You got to visit such wonderful places and makes me wish I could have been with you!! lol Aren't the locks amazing things? It must have been so much fun going on that Paddle Steamer.

It's only 9c here right now...and we're supposed to be nearing Summer! lol Our summers are short enough as it is without it being that cold in June.

Take care, my friend, and it was so lovely visiting with you once again:-) xoxo

Jeanette, that sure does look like a fun boat ride. I am wondering why it costs so much in the morning and is so cheap in the afternoon?
Glad for a couple of thinngs:
1. your colonoscopy went well and you don't need another for three years; and
2. you put a picture of Cazz on. When are you going to let her do a post in your absense? I took the blog keys away from my daughter but Cazz behaves and everyone likes to hear from her now and then.
Cheers,
..
BTW, thanks for checking in on me in my period of slacking off. I have really been busy and still am sort of.
Will post our canal boat ride through a bit of France soon, we had locks too.
