Dear Jan ~~ Your photos are beaut and I am so glad that you all had a wonderful holiday together. Also glad to hear that you got spoilt and the girls did the cooking. It will be a bit quieter at your place this week.
Thanks for your comments and glad you liked The Penny story and the Senior Special Brekky. At least the lady got her eggs to take home. Clever lady.
I hadn't heard of the Perth heatwave record. of 49C ~~ hell~ that's 120.2. Lets hope it cools down some before we get it here.
Take care, my friend and get some rest after your busy time.
Love, Merle.

5th pic down: that tiger in the corner - I hope it was tame! Surely it should have been behind bars and at a professionally managed zoo..?!?

My goodness, the little guy you scooped out of the pool was just trying to cool off too. Loved the tiger in the background on the one picture... he was cool. Good to have you back now behave yourself.:)

Your pictures of your family's vist are beautiful. Looks like everyone had a wonderful time. Your pool looks so inviting. Well, except for that creature that decided to join you all. Although I don't know what it was, it looked scary! LOL.

I enjoyed my visit with you. Stay cool and have a wonderful week.

Glad you had such a fun time with all the family Jeanette. It's good to see your photos.
I'm sure you're having a nice, peaceful rest now after all the frivolity. I hope your temps have gone down a bit. Ours would cool you off quick smart: around 12º (-11ºC) when we got up, and now there's an icy wind blowing.
