All Fluffy After her bath.A few days later with a wet chin, after her dinner I decided was time to get Penny groomed, the call was made and 2 days later Jesse picked her up then bought her home again after being groomed
The result: A little short but it will grow back very quickly.

What a sweet doggie ! is that yours ?? If yes I have missed something. I forgot to put you in my Google Reader and wondered why you haven't published a post for so long and now I discover that it's quite a while I haven't been here. Have to get more used to it, lol !
G'Day,g'day how are you're going yourself? Thanks for the visit! I bought a CD of Slim Dusty with among other songs " G'Day, G'Day" on it. So you're also an Aussi like my daughter's children. She has the Australian nationality, but is Dutch of course. All the same...She is happy in Australia.
I forgot to tell that your doggie is lovely and my daughter has the same little darling!
Hi Mate.
Poor Penny, she looks o.k.maybe the stiches are catching.
As long as everything is working she will be alright.
See you both soon xx
Hi Jeanette, As you know I love dogs so I loved your pics very much. I'm sure it would be hard to resist picking her up everytime she asked. I'm trying to write this without Tommy seeing your post as I don't want him getting any fancy ideas about being picked up. Better go as he keeps looking this way, its funny how they always know when you're up to something LOL! Bob.
Hi Jen. Sorry haven't been here for a while.
Thank you for sharing Penny's photos. I love how she looks after her bath. So fluffy and 'huggable'.
She looks so peaceful in her sleep. I love her cute blanket.
Hope she's recuperating well from her operation.
Thank you very much for your support for the Philippine Blog Awards. Sadly only Filipinos are allowed to vote but your thoughts already mean so much to me. Thank you once again.
What a darling little doggie. Really cute pictures.
Hi Jen,
She is a darling little doggy. Today's post was for dog lovers and I'm one. I hope Penny is feeling better today. They bounce back a lot faster than we do after we've been spayed;)..
Have a nice week-end.
Ann
Ooooh, poor little Penny, what a big week she's had. Hope she feels better today, and is running around like a little puppy should !! Please give her a hug for me.
Have a great weekend.
Take care, Meow
Oh the poor little Penny doggy, she looks really sad now. I hope she feels better soon. I think she still feels pain.
Thank you for the zucchini recipe! I'll try it!
Have a nice weekend :)
Here in Vienna its greyyyyy but our children come to visit us! So it's bright again!
G'day Jan, the photos of Penny are cute, Vicki has a very similar looking dog, Timmy who can be a handful at times.
Hi Jeannette,
She's a cute, and a lot of company too I bet.
I'm so glad your a responsable pet owner and got your baby spaded.
Janice~
Oh, look at those eyes...all full of bewilderment at what's been happening. Poor little Penny. Still, it's better for her that she's speyed and at least you're a responsible pet owner, Jen.
She does look so pretty after her bath and I think her haircut is cute and much cooler for the hot weather, too.
Get better soon, Penny.
Dear Jan ~~ Penny is so cute and has had a busy week with lots happening, no
wonder she is a little sad eyed. Hope she soon bounces back to full health.
I hope you had a good day at Barooga,
but bet you were tired after it. Thanks for your comments. Glad you liked the Reflections ~ I guess we are heading for the Winter of our lives. Or at least
late autumn, but hang on in there.
Take care dear friend, Love, Merle.
I did....I did enjoy the photos!!! She is just too darned cute! I LOVE this dog. And what a sweet face. Ohhhhhhhhhhh, I could cuddle and carry Penny around with me wherever I go. I'm so jealous Jen...I want her.
Hi Jen. Precious dog! We used to have a Lhasa Apso who was the biggest baby!He only had to visit the vet a couple of times. One was when a neighbor's dog attacked him, but the last he didn't get to come home. He had to be put down. He had a large tumor in his belly:( He also enjoyed being held or lying on the bed or just your lap.
Hope she heals soon.
Lisa
Hi Jeanette, that Penny is soooo cute! She is sounding a lot like our Katrin.
We are recovering nicely after our storm (Ike). Thank you for checking on me. A lot aren't recovering much, they lost so much.
The Houston area is almost 60% up with electricity now, Galveston and on east will have a terrible time.
Cheers,
..
Hi there,
Penny is a little beauty, is she a Shitzu?
Have you seen my little cutie? His name is Bobby and he's about 14yrs old. I've only had him for about 5 months, he was in such a state, all matted up ans smelly! he runs off with one of my slippers when I come home...I thought they were supposed to FETCH your slippers, LOL!
Hi again,
I'm 'anonymous' in the previous posting! aka 'Sandie's Patch' in the UK.
She is a real cutie! Looks a lot like a dog I used to have.
Smiles.
Ohhhhh, such a sweetie. I wish I could pick Penny up for a cuddle myself! She has the most expressive little face. When my Maggie got spayed, her belly looked terrible too. But now, six months later, the scar is invisible.
Oh! Penny is such a sweet looking little girl!! I hope she's all recovered by now!
Junie
Penny looks rather like my Honey. Penny is gorgeous, I can never resist a little fluffy white dog!
What a little darling! Your photos are soooo cute, Jen! After Elsie died, we said no more dogs, but when we see pictures like this...well, anyone can change their minds, can't they?
