Jen....she's beautiful!!!! What a super celebration. Is she your oldest grandchild? I ask 'cause my oldest is now 19 and it's so hard to believe when I can remember just yesterday I was holding him in my arms as a babe. I loved the sharing of such a wonderful time with your family.
Let's not mention the gas prices tho! Lordy.

Since we get to talk grandkids, I soom will be posting about one of mine (she graduated from college with two degrees, a masters and a bachelors).
My four grandkids range in age from 29 down to ten.

I thought our gas prices were high at nearly $4 a gallon, but at $1.53 a liter that puts yours over $5 a gallon! And the price just keeps going up. :-(

O yeah I knew I'd left SOMETHING out: petrol/gas. Wow is it really that cheap by you???
Dielsel is £2 a LITRE here... petrol not much cheaper. Diesel for some reason's gone massively up nobody quite knows why but fuel prices are SOARING in this country... as is basic food and just about everything else... our economy here's totally done in... I'm afraid... :-<...

Your granddaughter is just beautiful! Every time I read about the price of gas overseas, I know I should count my blessings on what it is here. At your prices it would cost us about $150 to fill our tank!!

Isn't it awful how much the price of gas keeps going up? You're paying even more than us...we're at $1.34 a liter right now.

I admire how your family makes it a point to get together on special occasions like birthdays. Belated Happy Birthday to your lovely granddaughter Alyces. A sweet name for a pretty young girl. Twenty one is a sweet age and hope she continues to enjoy the best that life brings.

About the spiders in my garden: we only have about 2 kinds of spiders that are poisonous here in the USA . . so we don't kill the
good spiders that work in the garden to eat other "bad bugs."
