The Devils Marbles

The "Devils Marbles" are situated south of Tennant Creek.

The Devils Marbles are extraordinary round shaped balancing piles of granite boulders, some over 6 metres in diameter.
Aboriginals believe the rocks are the eggs of the Rainbow Serpent, the creator of their Dreamtime.

Found you via Peter. Welcome to the blog world.

I took a look at some past entries -- you are quite an interesting person a of course love the sense of humor.

Australia certainly has some interesting terrain. I'm wondering how often do you go out in your carravan? In USA we call these RVs ..and you could say we are avid RVers.

Would love to follow your travels and your humor -- both are quite entertaining.

Hi Jen,

That's real interesting! I don't think I ever heard of the Devil's Marbles before this. Here in my home state of California we have the Devil's Postpile: http://volcano.und.nodak.edu/vwdocs/Parks/devils_postpile/devils_postpile.html
