First Post
Encouraged by my very good friends "Holtie" & "Merle", and a little help from family members, I have decided to give "BLOGGING" a try. I'm not sure what content will appear here, or how often updates will happen, only time will tell !!!
Hi Jan ~~ Congratulations ~ I am sure you will enjoy it. This is a real surprise and I want to issue a big Welcome to the blogging Community. We get to be friends in a short space of time. Take care, Love, Merle.
Hi Jen. Now I understand why you have been so quiet lately ... blogging! I know more about you now than when I met you and look forward to more. No doubt you will be a blog addict before long. Terrific!
great words by a great lady.you have so much strength carry on with this,i have never read "BLOGGING" before but will keep an eye out for yours..Well done Jen Karen
ohh my gosh mum, will have to get some lessons from you soon, that is fantastic. "im very proud of you" as you would say to us...heheheh. Keep up the good work.. but surely there must be a better pictures of me.. lol Luv your daughter Scruffy!!!!
p.s. im getting instructions on how to leave a message.. this is bad.. bad... bad... heheheh
Welcome to Blogland, Jen. You will be astonished at how quickly your name will become a 'household word' across the world !!
Seriously, it's amazing who you will 'meet' and where they live. Before you know it you will be reading the comments on another blog, click on the writer's name, and you're off in some far country, reading about places, people, cultures and events that you never dreamed of.
You will possibly 'meet' some bloggers whom you feel closer to than your own personal friends and you will be able to share things with them in a very special way.
My daughter suggested to me in Feb. 2005 that I start a blog as I might meet someone with similar interests, particularly gardening. Well, that turned out to be the understatement of the year. I now communicate regularly with bloggers in at least a dozen countries, and I've learned more geography, history, and hints on gardening, crafts and a variety of other subjects, than ever before.
